6v6 just feels like it had higher highs when overwatch is good and i feel like 5v5 just doesnt hit that level of fun when ow is really in a good state

They never abandoned PvE, they made all that stuff but realized they can make way more money by monetizing every skin, item etc instead of selling an expansion to the game. This game is a shop with a lack luster game attached to it. And these developers don’t even dare to talk about 6v6, what does that say about their mentality or capability. Actual losers, all of them and Keller is the biggest. They dance around the cheater issue, this whole team should be fucking laid off.

Funny so few understand how poorly designed OW has been since launch. The game never got new features to hide those problems like clans, qued tournaments, PvE (OW2 trailer), maps that favored a specific play style, and a progression system that didn't celebrate individual stats over team play.

The problem with overwatch is time and time again they fail to see how changes to one hero affect another or how broad changes like HP and projectile affect specific hero’s. Tracer is a good example dps passive, passive regen, larger projectiles and health pool where all buffs to her but the balance team didn’t think of that now tracer doesn’t have to worry about getting shut down as much she has way more uptime with the regen and she can Eiffel you down at farther ranges while your supports can do nothing about it. Tracer was never directly touched but all of the larger changes made her much better at her job.

It really says something when you hear Samito just saying “overwatch has been good to me, let’s move on to the next chapter” Guess it’s time to play some real games now fellas, who’s been on elden ring lately?

What matters to me is that when Im fighting a "brain dead hero" I want to know that I lost in a fair fight and not because of dumb stuff. Its one of the reason I GENUNELY ABHORR Moira. People hated Symms lock on microwave back in OW1. Its why it got reworked into what it is today. But Moira follows a similar philosophy from earlier Symm but as a support character. She just needs to look in my general direction and she can suck away my health. Hell if I die to a Kiriko at least I know they got semi decent aim, I wont be upset. But these characters that are brain dead are not because theyre easy to play and use, its because fighting them in completely shitty. Im not saying there shouldn't be low skill high reward charcters. Im saying fighting against them should at least be a fun loop. I NEVER get mad at Junkrats. Theyre goofy asd mofos who just wanna go boom. And if you die to a bomb thats so stuoidly telegraphed especially these days. THATS ON YOU.

This is a terrible take, in every competitive game. Braindead heroes allow for skill expression in other ways. In Overwatch, that could be better map awareness, better team synergy, better positioning. For every braindead Bastion, there's a guy who has only focused on playing say, Tracer, to where he can maneuver her expertly, but doesn't know how to capitalize on her picks or doesn't know how to isolate at higher levels so they get hardstuck just like the braindead hero player. Learning to press your abilities is just one step to climbing and I see a lot of people get trapped trying to master a single hero or two instead of learning how to play the game in its totality. It's the same here as it is in Valorant, LoL, and so on. On another note, if you get caught out by a "braindead hero" it's likely you made a mistake somewhere and are being punished for it. That's part of learning the game.
